| Only Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002 have currently
been tested. These instructions and screenshots were generated from Outlook
2000. According to multiple sources on the Internet, these same instructions
should work fine for Outlook Express 4.0, Outlook Express 5.0 and Outlook
98. Outlook 97 will not work. It did not include SMTP AUTH support.
Outlook only supports a clear-text SMTP AUTH protocol so SSL use is required. To configure SMTP AUTH in Outlook, first select item "Accounts..."
in the "Tools" menu as shown on the picture below. |
